יוֹם לְיוֹם, יַבִּיעַ אֹמֶר; וְלַיְלָה לְּלַיְלָה, יְחַוֶּה-דָּעַת תהילים יט,ג
Yeshivas "Yabia-Omer" was founded in Israel on אלול תשס"ו (Sep 2006) with its first group of students, graduated from schools around the city of Holon. The necessity of founding the yeshiva was felt for a long time, mainly due to the growing cases of students, graduated from schools and wish to study in a Yeshiva, and suddenly required to either leave their homes to live in the yeshivas or to go to other yeshivas located far from their home towns that don't supply any housing for the students and effecting the students personal and family lives that are used to live with their families.
A good Spiritual guidance requires a lot of Rabbinic educators, who have commitment and love for the young students in their hart and mind, and thank god, our Yeshiva has been blessed with the presence of the experienced Rabbis :
Ha'gaon Rabbi Itshak M. Dayan,
Ha'gaon Rabbi Ofir Elbaz,
Ha'gaon Rabbi David Igali,
Rabbi Ivtsan Zanani,
and Rabbi Ohad Yossef שיחיו לאי"ט.
The Yeshivas Rabbis teach the young students all the great values, give them guidance in spiritual education, teach them the Midot Tovot, Mutual help and most important - give the young ones high ambitions to succeed in their studies. And Baruch Ha'Shem, the first group of graduates of last year were accepted to the best high Yeshivas in Israel.
There are 3 classes In the Yeshiva and to each lesson accepted up to 20 young students in the purpose of giving each one of them as much attention as possible, and help them learn Torah, Torah She'beal Peh, Self educating and personal writing lessons.
Since the day the Yeshivas was founded, It was blessed with the presidency of
Maran Ovadia Yossef Shlita and the leadership of Ha'Rahag Rabbi Avraham Yossef,
The chief Rabbi of the city of Holon.
Untill the year of תשס"ט (2008-2009), it was located in a small temporary residence in
"Neve Arazim" neighborhood in Holon. Then, since the beginning of the year תש"ע (2009)
it has been relocated to another temporary residence in the city if Azor and then to the
"Ha'Rambam" Synagogue in "Kiriat Sharet" neighborhood in Holon where it still located until now.
In order to realize the development and growth of the Yeshiva, The Yeshiva needs a
permanent residence which will be built on a ground provided by the city of Holon, and to a Torah book
(the first one) which will be placed in the Yeshiva's Residence.
Further more, with a positive look to the future, we hope to provide the students in the
Yeshiva Kolel Avrechim which will continue teaching them on the afternoons and to provide
the public free Torah lessons and a free Biblical library.
Translated from the article by Rabbi Avraham Yossef, the head of the yeshiva.
